Independence Day

Time to celebrate July 4, the anniversay of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. For generations, we’ve enjoyed the gift of democracy. A gift from men with vision and a sense of the future.
We’ll spend the weekend enjoying what has become a polular lip-snacking American food. One of many now traditional foods brought to this country by the backbone of America, the immigrants who longed for the promise of liberty found on America’s shores.
Grilled, steamed, fried, boiled or barbecued and topped with chili, coleslaw, onions, saurkraut, relish, mayonnaise, ketchup, cheese or baked beans (depending on the which of the fifty states a citizen is enjoying his weiner, red hot, weenie, frankfurter or hot dog sausage) the hot dog is the food of choice for our red, white and blue holiday.
Tonight there will be fireworks and concerts and our love for America.
